Setting Up Your Pillar Keywords

Imagine two different people have identical niche sites. They both target the same keywords and they both decide to write an article optimized for it. They both build identical links.
But one of them ranks for more sets of keywords, pulls in more long-tad traffic, and gets 5x more traffic than the other.
How is this possible? In the next few units, I'm going to go over one of the most important strategies in this article. They're called pillar traffic and pillar posts
They're the essential components that form the difference between a site that gets thousands of visitors per month - and a site that gets hundreds of thousands or even millions of visitors per month
It’s  an SEO tactic that I use that allows my pages to generate tons more traffic than a competitors. The best part is: everything is strategically planned. Nothing happens by accident.
It doesn't mailer it you have a blog, business website, niche site, or e-commerce site. By incorporating Pillar Keywords and Pillar Posts into your content strategy, you can significantly magnify your traffic
What's the different between. Pillar Keywords Pillar Keywords happen during your keyword research phase. It’s  essentially a keyword research strategy Pillar Posts are the actual articles that you create using your Pillar Keywords. This might sound a little confusing now, but bear with me. It'll all make sense in a minute when I go through them both.

What is a Pillar Keyword?

Essentially, it’s the process of intentionally ranking for every variation of your keyword through proper planning.
This is one of the biggest areas where I do things differently with my niche site building and SEO
I remember when I first stayed my niche site, I learned from really well known bloggers in the space
One of the times I had my “aha”  moment was when even they were surprised by how they started ranking for things they never even targeted.
Their main keyword jumped to the first page, and they would say, What's interesting is that I'm also ranking for X, Y, and Z and wasn't even targeting them.
They ranked for these terms by accident
By targeting a major keyword, creating a high quality resource around 4, and building a bunch of good links, they got to #1 for their main keyword.
However, because it was a high quality resource with a lot of good links, they started ranking for other keywords. By having some of the words in their title, headings, or body of the post, they were targeting them without even knowing 4
And they probably could have done it for even more keywords had they done the appropriate research
That's what Mar Keyword setup is
Even today, people are taught to target a single keyword and build their page around it. They ignore the fact that if they build up enough authority to the page to rank for their keyword, they probably could have ranked for a handful of others in the process it they just targeted them in some way

A powerful strategy

After seeing that, I started experimenting with it. And now… it’s a MAJOR part of my niche site and SEO strategy In fact, I would NEVER create a site where I don't use Pillar Keywords and Pillar Posts as my main content strategy
It literally multiplies your overall traffic potential with the same amount of work.
This is the mason my main niche site jumped up in traffic all of a sudden.
Gaining enough authority that your site jumps to Ti for the biggest keyword is a big boost in traffic. If you're targeting pretty much every keyword with that post, they'll all rise to the first page and the traffic boost is ENORMOUS.
Your page will get so much more traffic without having had to do any extra work for it. It’s all just a result of smart planning. And I'm going to show you exactly how it’s done.
Here's how to create your pillar keywords
I'm going to use Petty Training for this example again because there are a lot of keywords I can work with to illustrate the steps.
I'll go step-by-step through this because this process is very important for you to learn
If you master this strategy, your niche sites will grow to a whole different level than it used to.
Traffic is multiple times greater in the long run than if you did the same amount of work without utilizing this strategy, so make sure you read through it and understand it entirely It all starts during your keyword research phase.

If you remember just a minute ago, we inputted some seed keywords into the Keyword Planner.

First, let’s take a look at the keywords brought back from Google's Keyword Planner. So here's the first page of results. Below are the seed keywords than we searched for

And here are some of the suggestions that Google Keyword Planner brought back.

There are 800 results in total, and I can't post them all hem so I'll do my best to forge an example with whets on the first page.
It should be more than enough. I'll usually only go through 3-5 pages.
So let’s go ahead and start forming our first Pillar Keyword.

Organize the list

First, I'll take the biggest keyword I want to target and list out all the relevant keywords that am DIRECTLY related to it.
What do I mean by this
I'll list all the keywords that are related to each other where ranking for one of them will pretty much mean I can rank for the others.
They're just warded slightly differently
For example, tips for potty training, potty training, and how to start potty training all fall under the same topic.
They ALL mean the same thing. Remember when we learned about search intent?
They all have the same search intent. Anyone who searches for any of those keywords are ALL looking for the same information.
The only difference is the wording. Each individual keyword gets a good amount of searches per month. Th., from the fist that aren't related are potty training pants and potty training toilet seat They fall under the same topic of potty training, but they don't have the some meaning. Someone who types in potty training pants isn't looking for a tutorial on how to potty train their child.

So here's the organized list of all keywords directly related to "potty training".

potty training -74,000
 potty training tips - 14,800
how to potty train- 8,100
tips for potty training - 880
tips on potty training – 720
how to start potty training -2,400
when to start potty training -8,100
when to potty train- 3,600
potty training boys - 18,100
potty training tips for boys - 2,900
potty training girls - 9,900
potty training tips for girls 1,600
potty training for boys - 1,600
tips for potty training girls -720
tips for potty training boys - 390
how to potty tram a boy - 9,900
how to potty tram a girl - 6,600
toddler potty training - 720
potty training toddlers - 480
baby potty training - 1,000
TOTAL SEARCH VOLUME PBR MONTH = 166,510

All of these keywords are related searches that have the same MEANING tips about potty training Everything else from the list that means something else, I didn't add it in. We can target all of these through a SINGLE PAGE, and Chats 166,510 searches per month.
That is just calculating using the keywords presented on the first page.
If we were to add up every hole keyword, it would get doser to 200,000 searches per month. REMEMBER: This is only counting the keywords listed in Google's Keyword Planner. It's not considering ANY long tail traffic, so the actual traffic numbers will be MUCH higher.

Results of using this strategy

People today are trained to look at that list and choose one keyword. Maybe they'll choose a keyword based around potty training girls. Its a good keyword that gets around 20,000 searches per month if you add up all the variables. But look at what we did here By taking the biggest keywords and combining them together, we put our page in position to rank for ALL OF THEM instead of just one of them.
This magnifies the results of your link building efforts.
Instead of… “Hey I'm finally ranking #1 for my keyword. That's a pleasant bump in traffic
It’s more like “OMG I'm ranking for EVERYIHING I've become the authority for this topic no matter how you input your search query, and my traffic Just exploded to a whole new level
And that's not an exaggeration. That's literally the difference I've experienced between sites where I've used Pillar Keywords and sites where I didn't.
In addition, our page is going to so much more jam-packed with information and provide value to our readers.  It’s a monster and we'll team how to create content for these types of post in the next unit in what I like to call Pillar Posts.
Pillar Keywords are the pillars of my authority site strategy - hence the name
This is what I mean when I say authority sites don't rely on single keywords to determine their success. I say that a lot, and people always look at me with confused looks
Even if it takes a long time to rank #1 for a competitive keyword like "potty training° this article wilt bring in a TON of long-tail traffic long before you even reach the first page.
Remember, we're creating a valuable long-tear authority site. It may not rank for all of these right away, but as we continue to build out our sites and do proper link building, 4 will.
And when it does, it will be more traffic than you've ever seen from any of your older niche sites.

Formatting the meta around our Pillar Keywords

You're probably wondering How do we even target all of them? Are we mentioning them in our content? Are we creating a massive 100 word title?,
It sorts wattle title and descirption elements
Title tags and descriptions are often used on search engine results pages (SERPs) to display preview snippets for a given page, and are important both for SEO and social sharing

Title tags are one of the most crucial components of SET and is given a lot of weight by Google in terms of how you rank, and for which keywords you rank for
Now let’s learn how to create one with the Pillar Keyword strategy.

Writing Our Title and Description for this Monster Post

So now comes the part of smartly targeting all of these keywords so that ranking for one of them = ranking for all of them.
What we're trying to do is make sure that we targeting every single one of those keywords in the list we made within our site's Title and Description.
Here's what I came up with

Again, here is the list of keywords we had selected earlier.

Try and find one keyword from our list where that title isn't relevant. They're all targeted in one way or another. This as easier than it might look.  All it takes is some creativity and a bit of practice. You'll have to play around with the title and descriptions a bit to get it just right I'm pretty happy with this one.

Let's move onto Pillar Posts

So now you saw how I do keyword research for my biggest keywords.
They're the only ones I pay this much attention to because they're the ones that have the ability to drive substantial amounts of traffic to our site I normally try to create at least 2-3 of these Pillar Posts at the start of a site
Meaning … when I start a new site, I'll always start things off by crafting 2 or 3 Pillar Keywords, and then creating the Pillar Posts for them
Only 2 or 3
Yes. As you can see, we're targeting a large number of keywords here. And the MINIMUM total search volume I'm looking for out of these Pillar Keywords is 50,000
2 or 3 pieces of content might seem like a really small number, but in reality, they're targeting hundreds of thousands in search volume.
The content for these types of posts also take a long time to put together (which we'll get into next)
2 to 3 is enough for the beginning. You can do more if you prefer, but I like to add in smaller posts (what I like to call inner pages and will be discussed later) targeting long-tail keywords after I get just 2 to 3 of these published.
Follow along

Dunne your keyword research stage, put together 2 of these posts first. We're not going to write the content just yet. Just do what I did above. List out the related keywords and try to target all of them within your site's tide and description.

How to choose a blogging niche

What is a niche?
A niche(pronounced either “Nitch” or “Neesh”) is the subset of the market on which a specific product is focusing. Choosing the right niche is crucial if you want to be a successful affiliate. In this course, I’ll show you how to select a sub-niche in the fitness market.
I realize that 9 out of 10 times, people will not understand what a niche is when presented with the explanation above. Most people will understand it when an example is given. Here they are :
Example 1 :
Market: Health and fitness
Niche : Muscle building
Sub-niche: Muscle building for men
Micro-niche: Muscle building for men over 40
Micro-micro niche : Muscle building for men over 40 who have kids

Example 2 :
Market: Relationship
Niche : Dating
Sub-niche: Dating for men
Micro-niche: Dating for men over 40
Micro-micro niche: Dating for men over 40 who have kids

Now, you may be wondering : “why don’t I just target an entire market so that I can achieve maximum profits?” How I wish that was the case. It sounds counter-intuitive, but by targeting everyone, you end up targeting no one. Before starting a business of any kind, you must first define your audience.

Let me tell you three hypothetical stories to illustrate the importance of defining your audience and choosing the right niche:

Story 1:
Paul intends to open a store selling kitchenware. He opens his store, and stocks his warehouse with every type of kitchenware available, from ovens to pots and pans. His first week went well. Sales were average. After a week, sales began to decline, and after a month, he had zero sales. Why is that?
After some extensive research he found out that Walmart had opened up a branch distanced one mile from his store. Turns out all his previous customers now shop at Walmart because they had lower prices and a wider variety of kitchenware. Mr.Paul couldn’t compete with Walmart in terms of
price and variety, and ended up closing his store. He loses his primary income stream and is now broke. He loses his wife and kids, and now suffers from depression. He kneels to the ground and shouts : WHY DIDN’T I DEFINE MY AUDIENCE!!!

Story 2:
Tony, a friend of Paul who too had a kitchenware store, heard about Paul’s story, and was determined not to make the mistake of not defining his audience. He pledged to stock only one type of kitchen appliance that would appeal to only one group of people. He filled his store with a special toaster that could only toast brown Arepa bread with the thickness of 3.512312^13 inches. Tony said to himself: “Paul you fool, you should have chosen a mirco-micro niche like me! Soon, hundreds of targeted customers will swarm to my store to buy my special toasters!”. Days passed, all the customers that entered his store left empty-handed. Months passed.
Surprisingly, Tony had 2 sales, but obviously, it wasn’t enough to cover his expenses. And like Paul, Tony ended up poor and miserable.

Story 3:
After witnessing the demise of Paul and Tony’s businesses, Albert decided to be smart about his strategy. He knew the best way to succeed in the kitchenware business was to choose a sub-niche that would target a particular group of people in the market(avoiding Paul’s mistake), while appealing to a wide-enough audience(avoiding Tony’s mistake). He opened a store that only contained toaster ovens with a few brands. Sure enough, Albert got rich in no time, and is grateful for avoiding Paul’s and Tony’s mistakes. When asked about the reason so many customers were buying from him, Albert replied: “By only carrying toaster ovens, I establish myself as the go-to guy for toaster ovens; And though Walmart sells them at a lower price, people still buy from me as I’m perceived as an authority in toaster ovens. However, I was careful not to be too targeted in my approach to ensure a demand in my sub-niche.”
After reading the three stories, I don’t have to ask you whose shoes you would want to be in. The three stories emphasize the importance of market research and niche selection. It’s vital to choose a sub-niche that is targeted enough but not too obscure that there’s no market for it. In some cases, a
sub-niche may still be too general. In which case, you might want to choose a mirco-niche of that market instead. Later on, I’ll show you how to gauge demand.
Now, it’s time to get our hands dirty. Remember, don’t panic if you get stuck. Read the guide thoroughly and implement the methods.

Niche research
When it comes to niche selection, you’ve probably heard this advice countless time: “follow your passion”. While there is merit to this advice, just because one is passionate about something, that doesn’t mean there's a market for the thing he/she is passionate about. Now, this certainly deserves a separate story, a funny one at that, but I’ll spare you the details ;)
My advice is to first follow the green, then follow the dream. Find multiple profitable niches, then select the one that you have an affinity for. The first step is to find a broad niche that you might want to target, and then drilling down to a sub-niche.

Finding your niche:
* Using Magazines
Magazines are a great way to find profitable niche. A magazine with a subscriptions and retail distribution typically cost between 6 million and $9 billion per year to publish. Magazines publishers will only print a magazine when they know that there is an audience for that niche and that advertisers are willing to spend money to reach them.
1.) Go to magazines.com.
One of the easiest ways to find magazines already sorted by niche is Magazines.com. At the top of the screen you will see an “All Categories” tab which if you click will present you with a list of different topics.

2.)For example, in the Health&Fitness category, I chose this magazine. It’s titled Men’s health with a male model. The apparent sub-niche would be “muscle building for men”. Easy, right?

* Using Google
Another way to find a sub-niche is by using Google.
1.) Go to google.com
2.) Type in your seed keyword in the search box.
3.) Your keyword would be your sub-niche. For example, muscle building for men.
4.) Behind your seed keywords, enter the term: for “*”
5.) Voila! You’ve got a list of sub-niches right in front of you!

Compile a list of sub-niches, as many as possible.
After building your huge list of sub-niches, we’re going to choose the one that you’re going to pursue. We have to evaluate the market of the sub-niches that we’ve compiled.
Here are some of the techniques that you can use to confirm the demand in a particular sub-niche.
* Google Keyword Planner
To use the Google keyword planner tool you will need to have first register a Google Adwords account. The account does not have to have any money credited to it. You can even have been banned from Google Adwords and still use the Keyword Planner Tool.
1.) If you haven’t done it already, create an account at
https://accounts.google.com/SignUp
2.) Login to your Adwords account at adwords.google.com
3.) Select the first option
4) Search your key term in the search box. For example, if your sub-niche is “weight loss for women” type that into the search box.
5.) You can also see how many people each month are searching for a particular search terms. This will give you an idea of the relative popularity of a particular keyword term. If you see numbers above 1000, that’s a good sign.
* Using Quantcast
Another way to determine the demand in a particular niche is to look at how many visitors some of the most popular sites in that niche are receiving.
1.) To find these websites simply perform a search and write down the URLs for the top 10 websites for that particular search. Take note whether there are Google Adwords ads. This means there are people spending money in this sub-niche. And people wouldn’t be spending money if there wasn’t a
market.

2.) Then, go to Quantcast.com and enter the URL one by one on the homepage search box.
3.) This will give you detailed information about the number of people that are visiting that particular website. Not only will you be able see how many people are visiting the website but you will usually get detailed demographic information. Included are the age, gender and educational background of the visitors to the site. This can be useful information when deciding whether a particular niche will be profitable and how to market to this audience. It’s a good sign if there’s a high number of monthly visitors to the site

Do this for every sub-niche, and pick only 5 that satisfy these criteria:
- The key term for the sub-niche has at least 3000 searches a month
-There are Google Adwords Ads on the front page when the term is searched in Google.
- The top 10 websites of your sub-niche have a high number of monthly visits.

  • My EASY Online Marketing Approach

I approach online/internet marketing using the following process consisting of 4 simple phases:

I simplify things as much as possible for my own good so as not to get overwhelmed. The above diagram is simple to understand and an easy roadmap to follow.
Each Step has its complexities and multiple options to effectively execute, however the overall process is simple.
Important notes to remember before getting started:
  • This method can be overwhelming
  • This method can be exciting and produce more results than expected
  • Getting distracted is easy with this method so STAY FOCUSED (You may come across a lot of information).
  • Its best to stay organized and focus so you don’t get overwhelmed

IMPORTANT:  Golden Rules

1. Focus on Intent and relevance to your audience or desired audience
a. Always ask yourself…What is the intention of a person who has searched for keywords I have identified?
b. Finding money making buyers’ keywords requires knowing the intent of the person searching.
2. Focus on the problem or Solution. Is the person using the search terms looking for a solution to a problem? Or are they researching? Knowing this is also important to determine how you will eventually use the keyword (more on that in rule #5)
a. People with problems are desperate and pay for solutions!
3. Use common sense! You should be able to eliminate irrelevant keywords and phrases using your own common sense.
4. This rule is one of the BIGGEST MISTAKES people make when doing keyword research. I have guilty of this myself. QUALITY IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN QUANTITY! Just because a keyword has a lot of traffic
DOESN’T MEAN YOU SHOULD USE IT. Remember we are looking for keyword phrases that have specific (buyer) intent.
a. You don’t always need a lot of traffic for your buyers to take action or to be powerful
5. Always focus on the outcome. What are you going to do with the keywords you find once you complete this process? What will be your next steps?
Will you use it:
a. To create content to Generate more Leads
b. To create content for Making more sales
c. To create content to Build authority and expertise in your niche
d. To create content for Branding
e. To create content for social media
f. To create content for SEO or Pay Per Click Campaigns
g. To create (possible content types):
i. Articles
ii. Press Releases
iii. Videos
iv. Podcasts
v. Hangouts/Webinars
vi. Social Media posts
vii. Kindle Books
viii. Guest Blog Posts
ix. Blog Posts
x. Product Reviews
xi. Whitepapers
xii. Presentations
The advantage of this keyword research technique is that It can be performed from anywhere with internet access. No special software is required to get started. You will be provided with a few free software tools that will make this easier once you get the basics down.

Here’s a quick overview of the process. It’s a simple process to follow.
1. Determine Your Niche
2. Find Relevant Keyword Phrases with Buyer Intent (you can go as broad or deep as you want)
Focus on action and buyers keywords, someone looking for a solution.
3. Determine Estimated Keyword Traffic/Popularity
4. Determine Estimated Competition and Difficulty
(How easy or likely are you to rank easily for the keywords without much competition)
5. (Optional) Determine Keyword Theme
(Multiple keywords should be organized in themes/categories)
6. Determine the Keyword's Goal (Outcome… YOUR intent of the keyword)
(How will you use the keywords in Phase 2?)
This system focuses solely on Phase I. Once you complete the keyword research segment of Phase 1 (Niche/Market Research) you will be ready to move to forward to the next phases. Niche Research and Keyword Research are the fundamentals of success in the other 3 phases.

Determine Your Niche (Step 1)
Let’s get started with step 1 of the Niche Keyword ATM process, determining your niche. At this point you will be in one of two categories:
1. You know what niche you want to focus on, or you have a general idea.
2. You have no idea and need niche ideas and inspiration.
If you fall in to the first category you should begin writing down any keywords and topics relevant to your chosen niche market (or use the keyword spreadsheet.
If you fall in category two above, here are a few ideas you can use for inspiration:
o Junk Mail/Circulars
o TV commercials/Infomercials
o News
o Tabloids
o Magazines
o Department stores and malls
o Amazon
o Clickbank
o Commission Junction
o Niche Forums
o Enewsletters
o YouTube
o Social Media
o Radio Commercials
These resources will get your creative juices going… you should have no problem finding niche ideas to get started with. If you want a deeper understanding of niches download this training that completely focuses on finding and researching niches The Ultimate Guide To Niche Domination
Now that you know the niche you want to investigate, write down general keywords in your Niche Keyword ATM Spreadsheet (Bonus Section of Download Page).

Find Relevant Keyword Phrases with Buyer Intent (Step 2)
Next we need to find keywords in our chosen niche. I’m going to choose two niches. One in the Online space (Start Potty Training) and the other will be a local/offline marketing niche (Tree Service/Tree Removal). These two examples will help you understand how simple and powerful the Niche Keyword ATM method is.

Research Example 1: Online/Affiliate Example
For the online niche I went to www.clickbank.com and searched the marketplace under “parenting” and sorted by Gravity. The general keyword phrase is “Start Potty Training” or “Potty Training”. The reason I picked this product was because it was popular, and I know it’s a problem parents with young children want to solve (yeah it was a random pick… bet you never saw this example used in an IM product huh?).

Next I visited the product website (startpottytraining.com) site to get a few more keywords to get started. After visiting the site here are the root keywords we’re going to start with:
  • Start potty training
  • How to potty train
  • Potty training a girl
  • Potty training a boy

Now that we have our root keywords it’s time to see what our audience (parents with young children) are actually looking for online.
To find buyers keywords we need to know exactly what our customers or audience is typing into Google. The Google keyword planner tool is a very useful tool but requires guessing. Guessing takes time and effort.
You won’t waste your valuable time or effort with the Niche Keyword ATM method!
What were going to use is Google’s suggestions and take out 90% of the guess work. This is how we find buyers keywords quickly and easily.
Starting with our first keyword “start potty training” we get the following suggestions from google.com:

Looking at the list above we can immediately see which keywords are solution oriented. The beauty of Google suggests is that it displays keywords that are most often typed in Google when YOUR AUDIENCE is looking for particular keywords.
Google is telling you EXACTLY what people want and are how they are searching for it.
Looking at the list above we can immediately pick out buyer intent keywords and keywords that require immediate attention from the searcher (problem/solution and buyer intent keywords).
  • Start potty training method
  • Start potty training now
  • Start potty training book
  • Start potty training guide

We also see a few authors and reviews that may be worth looking into. Once we find these keywords write them down or put the keywords in an excel spreadsheet or text editor and save to your desktop.
Let’s take a look at another term we chose in Google suggest.

Here you have a few more keywords that have buyer intent and a need for an immediate solution to a specific problem.
  •  Potty training a girl in 3 days
  •  Potty training a girl at 18 months
  •  And another possible niche… potty training a girl puppy (Keep your niche focused; this is where the method can get overwhelming. If I were to consider using this keyword I would save it and come back to it later since it isn’t related to the current niche I’m investigating).

Now we have 10 basic keywords to start. Our list will become much larger as we dig deeper.
This is a manual process right now but… I’ll make this much easier in the upcoming pages.
Remember finding buyers keywords is about determining intent. Especially buyers’ intent and finding customers with a problem that are looking to solve their problem now… or very soon.
You will need to use keyword modifiers to speed up finding buyer intent keywords. You need to use words that a customer would use to find a solution to their problem or to get more information about a possible solution to their problem.
Here are a few to get started. Using common sense and practicing this technique, you will be able to build out a much larger Niche Keyword ATM modifier list that is relevant to your niche.

Here’s an example of using the (when do I) modifier for potty training.

Is this starting to make sense? Good, now I am going to make this a whole lot easier for you. If you tried this the way I’ve shown you so far it would take a long time. The Niche Keyword ATM is about getting results fast and NOT WASTING TIME. Your time is valuable so let’s cut down on the time it takes to get the keywords.
Book mark this page. http://www.UberSuggest.org
UberSuggest is online software that instantly takes all of the suggestions in Google suggest and puts them in one place. A HUGE time saver.
Just in case UberSuggest is down or you want to try another resource… here are a few alternatives. These two sites are really good but I personally recommend
Ubersuggest:
 http://suggester.promediacorp.com (second favorite)
 http://www.keywordbuzz.net/

Now we’re going to demonstrate the power of UberSuggest using the keywords we have already identified. You will want to start off with your broad keywords then narrow down your keywords.
Using the base keyword “Start potty training” we get back 122 results.
They main reason UberSuggest is the better of the 3 tools (mentioned above) is because it allows you to easily separate the returned suggested keywords in alphabetical order. I’ll explain more about how this is relevant when we go over the next keyword example. Just know that having the option to select alphabetically makes your job much easier.
As we go through these results, clicking on the keyword will show you more keyword possibilities:
Clicking on the Plus (+) sign will save the keyword so you can export when you have found all your buyers keywords.

Select all of your phrases and copy to your clipboard then paste them in an excel spreadsheet or a text document (notepad/simpletext). Save the document on your desktop.
Now that you have your base group of keywords you can dive even deeper by taking the keywords you just saved and putting each one of those in one by one to see the results… or move on to the next step.
You will also want to try other modifiers and build as many buyers keyword possibilities as you can. This will take time but it’s well worth it...so dig a little deeper.

Example Research (2): Local/Online Example.
This is where you can KILL IT and find some keyword Gems. The Niche Keyword ATM method is the EXACT method I used for a landscape client (the guy I discussed in the audio) that increased his monthly income by $3k per month.
As you have heard me mention repeatedly in this pdf, I love using this strategy with Video Marketing and SEO. It is RIDICULOUSLY EFFECTIVE!
Imagine creating a lead generation video and ranking it for popular targeted buyer intent terms, then leasing that video to a business owner in that niche for $97-$497 per month. The Niche Keyword ATM method makes getting results effortless.
Write down a few service industry niches (i.e.: landscaping, collision repair, house cleaning, etc). I would pick more obscure industries that have an average customer value of at least $75-$100 (stay away from dental, chiropractic, attorneys, etc when starting out). Average customer value means that when you pay for the service (or product) you will spend at least $75 to $100 minimum every time. In this example I’m going to use Tree Service and Tree Removal.
Here is a list of modifiers to help with your Offline/Local marketing buyer keyword research.

For local marketing you can take a niche and find out what cites are the most popular. You are able to find out what city has the greatest demand for the niche service/industry or product. I also like to use state and initial modifiers to narrow down niche/industry keywords.
The results contain specific regional niche keywords related to tree service where BUYERS are looking for a solution to their problem.
This strategy completely takes the guess work out of finding profitable local niches. After you compile your keyword list you want to go to step2 and get estimated traffic/counts for each keyword.

Determine Estimated Keyword Traffic/Popularity (Step 3)
After you have determined your buyer keywords… you will get an estimated monthly search count for each keyword (estimated traffic).
Note: We are going back to the “Potty Training Niche” in this example.
Go to the Google Keyword Planner Tool Located here:
https://adwords.google.com/ko/KeywordPlanner/Home
You will need to sign up for an AdWords account if you do not already have one. It should be self explanatory and signing up is free if you do not already have an account.
At this point all of your keywords should be stored in a spreadsheet or text file.
Once you are signed into the Keyword Planner click the link that says >> “Search for a new keyword and ad group ideas”

The keywords you selected will have estimated traffic counts displayed so you will be able to get an idea of how popular the keywords are.
Remember Rule#1 & Rule #4. You are looking for buyer intent keywords and QUALITY (targeted phrases) is more important than QUANTITY!

Determine Estimated Competition (Step 4)
Open the file you exported from the Google keyword planner and remove or hide all of the columns except for the following.

  •  Keyword Phrase
  •  Avg. Monthly Searches
  •  Add a column titled “Ranking Ease”

Complete this for all of your keywords. When completed you will have a list of Hot Buyers Keywords and have an idea how easy or difficult it will be to use these keywords to get ranked using
SEO or Video SEO

Determine Keyword Theme (Step 5)
Next you will want to build themes for your keywords to keep large keyword lists organized. This applies if you have dozens (or more) keywords that have a similar theme or category. For instance for the “Start Potty Training” niche here are a few themes/categories we can separate our keywords into:
  • Potty Training Review
  • Potty Training Tips
  • Potty Training (Age groups)
Many of the keywords found will fall under one of those three themes/categories. You should develop themes to help you keep your large buyer keyword lists in an order that makes sense for you and it helps make the last step (Step 6) easier.
Keyword themes are completely optional but being well organized will make the process easier. Use themes/categories that work best for you.
Add a theme column to your Keyword Planner spreadsheet and place your themes there.

Determine the Keyword's Goal (Step 6)
This step will prepare you for the next phase (phase 2) which is developing content. I encourage you to use Video as often as possible. Video SEO is one of the EASIEST and FASTEST ways to rank and make money from your Niche Keyword ATM keyword. Diversify your content, use multiple content methods.
Choose how you will communicate your message and how you will produce content.
Once again here are just a few ideas to get your creative juices flowing.
  • Topics for articles
  • Topics for Webinars/Hangouts
  • Topics for Podcasts
  • Topics for presentations
  • Topic for producing Kindle books
  • Topics for Free Reports
  • Topics for Information Products
  • Topics for Videos (MY absolute favorite)
  • Topics for social media content creation
  • Topics for Website articles and blog posts

How to uncover a profitable market and keywords

To start creating your Google Cash Site the very first thing you will need to do is to choose a market or niche to target and then we will need to find a keyword that can be monetized and most mportantly profit from.
Our Google Cash Site will be based around a single long tailed keyword. By long tailed keyword I mean a phrase that someone would type into the Google search engine that contains at least 3 or more words and no less.
The main reason our site is going to rank on the 1st page of Google for that search term is because our well written website will be laser targeted around that keyword.
And remember with the coming methods you will know exactly how many people are searching for that exact keyword.

How to Uncover a Profitable Market/Niche you can monetize.
There are a number of ways to find a profitable Market or Niche that is easy to monetize.
The best way to do this is to put yourself in the shoes of the potential searcher. For example: When you want to buy a TV or Computer you would probably go to your local store but if you were searching for a way to fix a sexual issue or a personal issue most people would be too shy to go to their local store and ask for a solution so they then turn to the internet to search for an answer to their problem. These markets are going to be the best ones to try and target. One tried and tested method to find a good market is to look on sites like yahoo answers and ask.com both of these plus many others are great sources to find markets to target. Just look at the common questions that people are asking and list some of these down, this will show you what people are searching for online and most importantly what they are obviously having trouble finding the answers or solutions they require.
Sometimes the best way is to target a market or niche that interests you or you have experience in.
Some good Niches I have targeted that have been profitable for me are:
  • Cell Spying
  • Reverse number look up
  • Gaming
  • Dating
  • Relationships
  • Weight Loss
  • Wedding planning
  • Sexual issues
  • Personal Development
These are just a handful of niches that I have used in the past to help get your brain ticking over. Try to think outside the box and really get yourself lost in the shoes of others as there are thousands and thousands of different Niche’s you can target.

How to Find a Product to Promote
After you establish what niche you wish to target you will need to be sure there are products in that niche that you can promote.
Most people will tell you to go straight to Clickbank and although Clickbank is great I find with everyone using this service the potential keywords have been all but used. I will use Clickbank though if I can’t find a product to promote anywhere else only after I have exhausted the other options below.
I prefer to use a few different places to search for products. If you type affiliate programs into the Google search bar you will notice there are a heap of different market places for you to choose from. I personally have tried quite a number of different affiliate networks but the main two that I use are called Avangate and Plimus, you can get to Plimus by going to www.plimus.com and to get to Avangate go to www.avangate.com. There are others I use like www.paydot.com , ww.amazon.com for physical products and www.tbtrack.com as well as www.clicksure.com but never forget the good old www.clickbank.com.
All of the above programs are free to join and I will show you how to do this in video 1. Most just require you to fill in a simple registration form to get started. I will also show you how to choose a good product that converts well. If you choose a product that has a low conversion rate you once again will waste a lot of time and effort creating a site that may rank in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd position on Google and get a lot of targeted visitors but in the end you will get zero sales.
Rule of thumb – After you check out the products sales page make sure if you were looking for a similar product, would you buy it? If after checking it out and you personally feel you wouldn’t buy it then don’t promote it. Remember by no means do you have to stick to the affiliate networks I have
suggested, it’s just these one’s have performed best for me. Now that you have your market and product to promote selected let’s get onto the next step.
In the next step I really want you to focus and maybe even read over this section twice and watch my live demonstration video a few times as it’s one of the most important parts of the whole process.
Once you have found a product that you think will work in your market start to think about the keywords that people would type into Google to find solutions that fit alongside these products.
Visit the products sales page and the products main website for idea’s. I sometimes go to the products frequently asked questions section if they have one as this will give you a quick guide into what people have been asking in the past.
Once again all of this will be much clearer in the first video.
Ok so now let’s get onto the next part of the Google Cash Explosion process. How to decide on the Type of Keyword you should Target. There are essentially 2 types of keywords I would use, one is based around helping people find a solution to a problem like “How to impress women”, “How to train your puppy dog”, “How to lose weight off my thighs”, Why can’t I get a date” and “Where can I get a good wedding speech”. So for this method it’s the How, Why and Where phrases. These keywords would usually mean you will be creating a story website with a product suggestion to solve their problem or to offer a solution. Here’s an example of a site based around this type of keyword:
The other type of keyword to target is the product led type which is my personal favorite. This is simple the keywords you would normally target are phrases such as “product name”, “product name review”, “product name reviews”, “product name pro”, “product name login”,“product name  freebie”, “product name free download”, “buy product name”, “get product name”, “product name download” and “product name torrent”. Of course there are more to choose from but they are the ones I use most often.
Most people will say that targeting a keyword with free or free download in it will not attract a buyer but I find that to be the complete opposite. If the content is written well and you offer a real solution in your content, make sure you actually help people with their issue and in the end they will buy from you as you have built a great deal of trust plus they have obviously been searching for a while.
Just state in your content that a free download is not available from a trusted site but there is a solution you can obtain this “product name” for the very cheapest price that you could find. This comes well after you have tried to solve their problem or issue and really sound concerned with
finding them a solution.
If you do this correctly you will find that the sales will start to pour in. To explain this in detail I will be given you a real life example of a site where I do exactly this in the 2nd video.
Here’s an example of a site based around the product led type of keyword:

If you are trying to target a physical product then try to be very specific, instead of targeting a keyword like “iPhone 5” which would be impossible to rank for, target a keyword that is way more specific like “buy a cheap Unlocked Apple iPhone 5”.
Here’s an example of a physical product based keyword site:
Another great way to find a keyword to target is to find a new product that is launching and select one of the product led keywords on the product that is about to launch.
For example, if the product that is going to launch is called “Mobile App Magic” then you would target a keyword like “Mobile App Magic”, “Mobile App Magic Review”, “Mobile App Magic Download”, “About Mobile App Magic”, “Mobile App Magic Bonus” or “Mobile App Magic Free Download”.
There are others that you can target and the main reason is that there will be nobody before the launch looking for this particular product, mainly because nobody knows about it.
Once the product launches you will find with all the interest around that product there will be heaps of people wanting to read a review or get more information about the product before they buy it.
So if you are going down this angle there is no keyword research required at all. You will need to be quick to get the domain name that you require which is once again the same as your main keyword.
How to find up and coming product launches is the hardest part in this process. You can do some research in a few different ways like your local newspaper, popular magazines, TV reports or the best way to find a new launch is to go to a website called JV Notify Pro. The site address is http://v3.jvnotifypro.com.
On JV Notify Pro you can go through a list of products that are being launched in the future. They give you sales information, review information and a ton of affiliate sales information as well.
I will put an extra video in the member area to show you how to choose a great JV launch product. To promote these products just use the process that will be covered in chapter three and write a full product review on the new product.
This type of Google cash site can be extremely profitable and it’s definitely worth looking into.
In my example of creating a Google Cash site I will show you how to find a basic long tailed keyword.
I had planned to build this Google Cash site anyway so you can all now see live exactly how I do this. The entire process is the same except I will be focusing on the full review style of site.
I do hope that you have understood what I mean in this section as it’s one of the most important sections of the Google Cash Explosion Method. You may need to read over this a couple of times and watch the live training video to get a good grasp on this whole chapter.
The Google Cash Explosion Keyword Search Volume Rule
Once you understand what type of keyword you may try to target the first thing to do is to write a bunch of these long tailed keywords down on a notepad or word document.
The next thing we will do is to go to the Google keyword Planner. You can find this by typing in https://adwords.google.com/o/keyword planner. The reason I use this tool is because we are trying to impress Google for our rankings so why not use their tool that shows the exact amount of times a
person has searched for that exact phrase or keyword.
Once you are in the Google keyword Planner you are going to place each keyword or phrase that you have written down into the search bar which you get to by clicking on the tab that say search for new keyword and ad group ideas at the top of the keyword Planner. Enter your keyword in here and then Click on the get ideas button and see the results that are given.
(Remember to select keyword ideas once the search start because we are not interested in the group ideas default section)
Rule 1 – When selecting the keyword you want to target it must be getting at least 700+ searches per month or more and make sure that the trends on the right of the results are not declining to rapidly. Once again I will show you live how to do this in the 2nd video. (Note: You can target keywords with less than 700 searches per month but this will dramatically decrease the potential earnings from your site.)
Finding a keyword that meets the criteria is very important so keep trying till you get one, you can also go through each of the results that Google keyword tool lists to see if one will fit the criteria.
Next you will need to check another important rule before you can be sure that this search phrase meets the Google Cash Explosion criteria.
The competitive analysis rule
So you have hopefully by now found some keywords that fit into the above criteria, if so we need to now check the second rule in our Google Cash Explosion check list.
The second rule is to analyze the competition for that particular keyword. To do this we need to head over to Google and type in the keyword we have just found, once you do this you will notice the number of pages that are ranking for that keyword. This can be seen just below the search box. See
the screenshot below for an example:

Rule 2 – When you type in the keyword and see the number of competing page usually I won’t bother consider targeting this keyword if the overall competition is greater than 1,500,000. Don’t ask me why it’s just what has worked for me, the less the number of competing pages the better.
Next we need to add the phrase marks around the keyword and once again check the number of competing pages. If the number of pages competing pages is less than 23,000 I will then consider targeting this keyword for my Google Cash Site.
The final part of this competitive analysis is to remove the phrase marks from the keyword and look in detail at the top 10 results. What I am trying to do is to avoid targeting a keyword that has large authority sites in the top 10 results as it is going to be very unlikely that I will be able to out rank
them.
Here’s some Authority sites that I will avoid competing against: Wikipedia, wiki answers, wiki how and ehow. The basic meaning of an authority site is a website that is a large brand name site which is usually made up of multiple pages and multiple articles some will even cover 100’s of different
topics within that niche.
What I always do is avoid site’s that have a PR of 4 or higher this is a pretty clear cut method of analyzing the competition as an authority site (PR meaning Page Rank).
To see the PR of a site you will need to install a free tool called SemRush and within semrush at the bottom of the site you will need to use their tool that’s called SEO Quake, what SEO Quake will do is display some very useful information under each of the results when you search in Google. The
feature that will be most interested in for now is the competing site’s Page Rank or PR number.
You can get SemRush at http://www.semrush.com. Once you are in semrush, head to the very bottom of the site and you will see the software called SEO Quake, install this software and it will create a Mozilla Firefox Add on so you can then see the results straight from the Google search engine. Take a look at the screenshot below for an example of what the results look like with SEO Quake installed:

How to find these keywords
Just to recap everything you will need to do in article
1. Find a niche or Market you can monetize – remember the rule to target markets that will and do attract desperate hungry buyers with a real desire to learn something, answer a question or fix a problem.
After you get this in your mind list down the topics that you understand or have experience in.
2. Find a product to promote that is selling well or has a high conversion rate – remember to put yourself in your potential customers shoes and if you feel you would buy it then it’s probably
worth promoting
3. List 5 – 10 long tailed keywords that relate to the product or niche, plug then into the Google keyword tool and then stick to the following rules.
  • 700 searches per month for that keyword
  • Page competition without phrase marks is 1,500,000 or less – remember less is better.
  • Page competition with phrase marks is 23,000 or less – remember less is better
  • Remove the phrase marks, search again and check the top 10 results are not authority sites with a PR of 4 or higher (therefore you want to be competing with sites that have a PR of 3 or less (once again less is better)
I know that it may seem like I have given a lot of mind drilling detail in this section but it’s probably the most important process of the entire Google Cash Explosion System. If you don’t get this right your Google Cash Site will be likely to fail. So follow these steps and rules in order to guarantee your
site will be successful and create a great residual income that will grow on autopilot month after month.
